Summer Camp Program 2010 Instructor: Carol McMackin
Spend your summer onstage with other talented young performers and experience the world of musical theatre, dance, and acting in a four-week workshop for ages 6 – 13 yrs. of age. Our musicals come to life before your eyes on our stage and create memories that will last a lifetime!
June 14th – Aug. 20th
Beginning Musical Theatre
Fee includes a daily two hour session with individual and group coaching, set, props and costume design. Designed for children as an introduction to understanding characters, movement, memorization of lines, team building and poise on stage.
Technical theatre component – children collaborate to create props to be used in production as well as drawing and painting or coloring backdrops for stage use.
Culminates with a performance of the show on the last day of class, which runs approximately one hour.
We require a $55.00 additional cost to cover miscellaneous expenses for the shows. Some personal clothing and/or items may be required.
Intermediate Musical Theatre
Fee includes a daily two hour session with individual and group coaching, set, props and costume design.
Technical theatre component – kids collaborate to create props to be used in production as well as drawing or coloring backdrops for stage use.
Designed for kids that have had experience onstage, with a focus on the development of characters, accents, voice and vocal range, dance, coordination, confidence, team building and poise on stage.
Culminates with a performance of the show on the last day of class, which runs approximately one hour.
